HarbinWoods01The Hakomi Institute of California, LLC was formed in September 2008 by Certified Hakomi Trainers Scott Eaton, Jon Eisman, Rob Fisher, Manuela Mischke-Reeds and Julie Murphy. We continue the tradition of offering high quality trainings established by our predecessor Dr. Richard Heckller, who led and directed the Hakomi Institute of San Francisco for over 20 years.

Our mailing address is 343 Soquel Avenue, Box 16, Santa Cruz, CA  95602.  You can reach our administrator, Lindsay Dye, at 415-839-6788 or by email at contact@HakomiCA.org.

While affiliated with the Hakomi Institute in Boulder and other Hakomi Institutes around the world, the Hakomi Institute of California is an independent, collectively run organization.

Our objectives are to:

• Deliver high quality professional trainings and workshops for therapists and other helping professionals on the Hakomi Method
• Offer workshops and programs for personal development grounded in the Hakomi principles
• Create a thriving community grounded in mindfulness-based self inquiry.

The Hakomi Institute of California maintains an active policy of equal opportunity. We encourage diversity in terms of age, gender, race, creed, color, national and ethic origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability and marital status.

The Hakomi Institute of California is a continuing education provider for MFTs, LCSWs, LEPs and LPCCs approved by the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT provider #82187). Our Hakomi Professional Training offers psychologist CEUs as well.
