The Hakomi Institute of California, LLC was formed in September 2008 by Hakomi trainers Jon Eisman, Rob Fisher, Julie Murphy, Manuela Mischke Reeds, and Scott Eaton. It continues the tradition of offering high quality trainings to the greater Bay Area established previously by the Hakomi Institute of San Francisco.

While affiliated with the Hakomi Institute in Boulder and other Hakomi Institutes around the world, the Hakomi Institute of California is an independent, collectively run organization.

The California Institute’s objective are:

— to deliver high quality professional trainings and workshop for therapists and other health professionals that want to utilize the Hakomi method in their work.

— to offer workshops and programs for personal development based in the Hakomi principles

— to further the study of Hakomi for allied professionals and

— to create a thriving community of mindfulness based self inquiry.

We are a Continuing Education LCSW & MFT Provider in the State of California PCE# 4355 and can also provide nursing CEUs.
